Shatley D Railed at the Silver Dollar

Enjoy the sounds of Shatley D Railed, Laurel Springs' own Richard Shatley, live and unplugged. Friday, Jan. 22, at the Silver Dollar Music Park. North Carolina restaurants went smoke free in 2010 and the Appalachian District Health is asking everyone to celebrate clean-air dining experience by eating out on Tuesdays during January. Now you really didn't want to cook, did you?


Shriners seek auction items
New River Shrine Club is looking for donated items for their Winter Auction Feb. 13 at the Black Building at the County Fairgrounds in support of Shrine Children's hospitals. Firewood available
