Alleghany Premier of Alien Outlaw. In the 1980s, the movie Alien Outlaw was shot in Alleghany County. It wasn't the best movie that year but probably not the worst. Its one important distinction is that it was shot here and I recall a special excitement in the air. It was such an exceptional movie that it bypassed American release and went straight into the foreign market. Many of you old timers have probably been yearning for 25 years to see how it turned out. Wait no more. Saturday, Nov. 27, at 7p the Silver Dollar Music Park will be offering its Alleghany Premier. It's a bit risque, I wouldn't advise it for pre-teens. But everyone else should come out and see the familiar places and faces. Admission is $10 and that includes food! 336-372-6874
