Remember the Blue Ridge Parkway's 75th Anniversary celebration, held September 10 through 12 at Cumberland Knob and the Blue Ridge Music Center? Of course you do and our Parkway friends who helped plan that event would like for you to respond to a brief survey. The survey is online, it is quick and it is easy and anonymous. Why not take the survey right now!

What is John Kilmartin doing? If you had attended last Thursday's Chamber Business After Hours at Touch of Grace and Mustard Seed Cafe you'd know what all the fun was about. And to really top off the evening you should have started out at Alleghany Memorial Hospital's Open House to kick off their 60th anniversary. Both events were well attended and a lot of fun. Sorry if you missed it but pictures are available on the Chamber's Facebook page. Check them out.

Check out this article and video on the NY Times and next time someone says real trees don't benefit the environment, give them the facts.

TAKE WCC SURVEY, WIN MERLEFEST TICKETS: Wilkes Community College is looking from input from employers of some of their recent graduates. The survey is short and some responder is going to win MerleFest tickets. Check it out.
