TRADITIONAL MUSIC AT THE LIBRARY
Lucas Pasley, a local musician and teacher at Alleghany High School, will explore music, lives, and styles that make Alleghany County unique Thursday, April 22, at 6:30p. Come join us at the Alleghany County Library for a tribute to some of Alleghany County's great traditional musicians in an evening of live music with the fiddle and banjo. Join a ranger at the New River State Park at the canoe launch in the primitive campground area Friday, April 23 at 2 p. Trish Shaver will be at the Alleghany Library 10a-12n to sign copies of her new book Saturday, April 24. At 11a, she will read from "A Road to Love," which is set in the 1800's and is Christian fiction set in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
