Too good a deal to pass up
The Blue Ridge Opportunity Commission is providing a weatherization program for local homes as part of the federal stimulus program. This is a win-win for everyone involved. It lowers your heating bills, increases the value of your home and means jobs and spending in the local economy. There are guidelines that must be met (income maximums or a SSI or TANF eligible family member). Call the local BROC office at 336-372-7284 to learn more. If you don't qualify, tell your neighbors. This helps your neighbor and the local community.
